The Read & Write permission in DMIx allows users to view, edit, delete and manage permissions for objects, folders, and collections.
How the Write (Edit) Permission Works:
- A user with Read & Write permission can modify an object’s content and metadata.
- They can also change permissions for objects, folders, and collections, granting or revoking access for other users.
- This means they can assign Read, Read & Share, or Read & Write permissions to others within their allowed scope.
- They can delete objects and collections.
What a user can do with Read & Write permission:
- View and delete objects and collections.
- Edit metadata and content of the object.
- Modify access permissions, granting or revoking Read, Read & Share, or Read & Write rights for others.
- Manage folder and collection permissions, ensuring controlled access within the workspace.
What a user cannot do with Read & Write permission:
- Move or reassign objects to different folders or collections outside their permitted scope.
