Read Permission

The Read permission in DMIx allows users to view objects, but not to modify or manage them.

What a user with Read permission can do:

• Access and view objects in folders or collections where they have been granted read access.
• See metadata and details associated with the object.
• Use the object in workflows that require reference data but do not involve modification.

What a user with Read permission cannot do:

• Edit, rename, or delete objects or collections.
• Move or reassign objects to different folders or collections.
• Share or change permissions for the object.
