MatchBox is a dynamic tool within the DMIx platform, specifically designed to simplify the lab dip and color approval process. It acts as a central hub, providing tools for digital workflows, lab dip analysis, and real-time communication between brands (User right: Sourcing Principal) and suppliers (User right: Sourcing Contractor) . Whether it’s ensuring color accuracy, managing submissions, or tracking statuses, MatchBox offers the resources to keep your workflows seamless and efficient.
MatchBox replace traditional, manual methods, enhancing efficiency and communication in the textile and fashion industries.
How MatchBox Works:
Principal Creates Lab-Dip Requests:
The brand (Principal) initiates color-matching jobs by setting up Lab-Dip requests. These requests include digital color standards and optional tolerances like color fastness.
Contractor Uploads Digital Files:
The supplier (Contractor) responds by uploading
.qtxfiles, supporting a fully digital process.
Real-Time Feedback:
MatchBox provides instant system-generated feedback by comparing supplier submissions to the predefined color standards. Both parties can review the results immediately.
Detailed Color Analysis:
Users can access classic colorimetric tools for in-depth color analysis. This helps ensure accuracy and adherence to brand specifications.
Status Monitoring:
The platform enables continuous tracking of Lab-Dip approval statuses with clear tags like "requested," "in process," "approved," etc. This ensures transparency and prevents delays.
Communication:
MatchBox integrates direct messaging and commenting on specific Lab-Dips, streamlining communication between brands and suppliers.
Key Features:
Automated Quality Checks: Custom tolerance settings automatically assess color submissions.
Job Activity Log: Tracks all activity and communication with a built-in chat function for easy reference.
Tagging and Analytics: Use tags to organize jobs and export data to Excel for reporting.
API Integration: Seamlessly connects with PLM and ERP systems for efficient data exchange.
By offering these capabilities, MatchBox significantly reduces the need for physical samples, streamlines approvals, and enhances color consistency across global supply chains.
