Every owner of a collection, company admins or users with collection editing rights can edit collections.
Open editing dialogue window
- Open the respective collection
- Hover over the area to the right of the collection name
- Click on the pencil icon
Collection editing options:
- Brand
You can assign a brand to the collection if applicable. This helps organize and categorize your collections for easy identification.
- Name
Edit the collection name to better reflect its content or purpose.
Download Restrictions :
- None: No restrictions; users can download content freely.
- Company: Only users within your own DMIx Cloud can download the collection’s content.
- Protected Mode: Prevents the download of spectral colors. This restriction applies to all users when active.
- Limited Mode: Hides spectral color values from being displayed. No color values will be shown while this mode is active.
- Allow Download: Prohibits the download of any file format for all users when active.
- Object Visibility
Manage visibility settings for your collection. See the "Public Visible" section for more details.
- Description
Add a description to provide additional context or details about the collection. This is optional but can be useful for other users who may access the collection.
- Lock PAX Attributes
Prevents PAX attributes within the collection from being overwritten. Use this feature to maintain attribute consistency across items.
- Tag Editing
Create and edit tags to help organize your collection. Tags make it easier to search for and filter content within the DMIx Cloud.
- User Permissions
Manage who has access to the collection. Only collection owners, company admins, and users with editing rights can modify permissions. See the "Providing Permissions" section for more details.
- Delete Collection
Delete the collection as a container within the DMIx Cloud. Note: Deleting the collection will not remove the content itself from the cloud. The files remain unless you actively delete them. Also refer to ‘Delete Collection' section for more details.
