Collection

Folders in DMIx serve as an organizational tool to help users structure their content, while collections are designed for content management. Every user can create their own collection and upload their own content. Additionally, users who have access to other collections and have been granted editing rights can also contribute content to those collections. A collection can contain the following file formats: Material Zip (including maps) Material Zip (including AxF) Material AxF (XRite) Material U3MA (Vizoo) Material XTEX (Vizoo) Material Substance (SBSAR) Images (jpeg, png, tif) Colors (qtx) Collections can be created at any organizational level that the user has access to within the DMIx structure. Collections remain private until the user actively shares the content with other internal or external users. Collections can only contain content. They can be nested in folders or on company level but not within other collections.
