This page provides a concise overview of the DMIx SamplR app interface. It shows how to navigate the main screens and access the key functions needed to operate your DMIx SamplR device.
Capture Screen
The Capture Screen is main screen from where you will capture PBR materials, colors or photos.

The Navigation Bar helps you navigate through the app. It gives you access to the library, settings and your DMIx account.

The Capture Interface gives you direct controls to the outcome of your captures, like a camera preview, alignement guides, focus and different light templates.

Pick your Capture Mode and start scanning.

1.a. DMIx Account
This section shows, with which DMIx Account you are logged in right now and where DMIx SamplR Captures are uploaded to. Press the “User” Symbol to switch to a different account.
1.b. Library
Press the “Library” button to open your recent captures. The default setting deletes each capture after uploading to DMIx to save storage. Change this behavior in settings.
The library menu also shows the current status of your captures: Processing, Uploaded, or if an error occurred.
1.c. Settings
Opens the settings menu. Here you find the SamplR connection, settings that affect your captures, and additional information and help sections. It is divided into several sections:
Connected Device
Connect to your device and start calibration from here.
Capture
All settings regarding your captures.
App
General settings like Clean Up and SSO Login settings.
Help & Feedback
Quicklinks to the Help Section, Customer Service and Compliance Information
2.a Capture Name
By pressing into the Textfield the keyboard will open up and you can name your next capture.
2.b Guidlines
Pressing this button will show an guideline overlay in the camera preview to help with aligning your sample.
2.c Light Control
Pressing the lightbulb button will toggle the lights of DMIx SamplR with the current selected light template.
You can select the light template by long pressing the light bulb button.
3.a Capture Modes
Select your preferred capture Mode.
3.b Capture Button
Starts the capture process with the current selected capture mode.
