Customizing Your Measurement Settings

Once your device is connected and calibrated, you can adjust technical settings in the Measure Tool to match your measurement needs.

The Mode determines how the device captures and interprets color data. The available modes depend on your device's specifications and measurement geometry.

Naming Your Measurements

Under Name Options, you can choose how to label your measured colors in a way that best suits your workflow.

• Use DMIx Number will assign a system generated alphanumeric name to your color

• Use Prefix or Number Count allows the user to create name prefix and the system will automatically add sequential number for every measurement

These settings help ensure accurate and organized color measurements.
