User Roles
DMIx supports three user roles that define the level of platform access: Company Admin: Full access, including user and content management across all modules. Company User: Standard user with configurable permissions to create, manage, and interact with content. View-Only User: A highly restricted role designed for external stakeholders who only need to view content. Each role defines what users can do at a general level. While Company Admins and Company Users can receive permissions to interact with data, the View-Only role has fixed limitations and cannot be extended with additional rights. The View-Only User is not included in the standard DMIx user set or the default cloud setup. It is a separate, add-on user role designed specifically for viewing-only purposes. This role must be explicitly booked through ColorDigital and is available as a purchasable feature outside the core DMIx module.
