To upload your EIZO screen profile to your user profile in the DMIx Company Account, you first need to create the profile. Follow these instructions to get started.
Step 1: Download the Software
- Download the Color Navigator 7 application from EIZO.
- Visit this link: Color Navigator 7
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Download Color Navigator 7."
- Once installed, open the app.
Step 2: Set Up the Calibration
- The interface should show "User" as the default under the Color Mode options.
- You can right-click to rename it if needed (e.g., to "DMIx"), though this is optional.
- Right-click again to access "Edit Target" to adjust the screen presets
Step 3: Adjust the Settings
- Brightness: Set to 120 cd/m². If your room is very bright, increase it to 140 or 160 cd/m².
- White Point: Set the color temperature to 5500K. If your room has perfect lighting, you can lower it to 5000K.
- Gamma (EOTF): Set to 2.20.
- Gamut: Set to Native.
- ICC Profile Policy: Set to "At every calibration 2.2, Tone curve LUT."
- Apply changes by clicking OK.
In the main menu click on Calibrate ...
Step 4: Calibrate the Screen
- In the main menu, click "Calibrate."
- Ensure "Display automatically detected" and "Measurement device: Built-in Sensor" are checked.
- Click the blue arrow to continue, then "Proceed" to start calibration. The built-in sensor will run automatically, taking about 1-2 minutes.
- Once finished, click "Finish."
Step 5: Save the Profile
- Your profile is saved under the default path.
Step 6: Add the Profile to DMIx
- Start the app on the monitor you just calibrated.
- Log in to your Cloud account.
- Go to My Account > Settings and upload the ICC profile. It will be stored automatically.
